I offer a range of illustrated talks on a variety of topics, using a mixture of Power Point slides, sketch books and samples of my work. Attendees are welcome to handle the sketch books and samples. When I travel to deliver talks, I always bring a variety of cards and small pieces of work, which are for sale. I charge £85.00 per talk, plus travel expenses of 40p per mile. This talk describes the development of a scheme of work based on Norwich Cathedral from conception to completion. It looks at design work and the techniques that were explored to develop the final pieces of work.
Gnome is a 3D soft sculpture 30cm high with articulated head, legs and arms. He was made for a City and Guilds unit of work (3D functional item) and this talk expains the processes completed from joke to reality.

Stepping Out was a large art quilt created to commemorate my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. From the design work and sketch books came a range of wedding stationery. This talk explains and illustrates how it was done.
