The Falkland Islands

In January of 2023 I was fortunate enough to fly across the world for a three week holiday with two friends to stay with their daughter in the Falkland Islands.

Such an enjoyable trip. I island hopped on small planes with wonderful views of the islands and wildlife below. The birdlife was incredible, the beaches white and teeming with treasures.

I managed to do some sketching and 2023's work is based on the Island experience. Using designs from my sketch book I began with two lino cuts
